Hi, I want the opportunity to speak with you.  I will take the time to tell you how to determine the difference between a skilled DJ with customer service skills and an individual who is fascinated with the "Disc Jockey Toys"!

You can probably already tell that I am very straight forward and to the point.  Well here is another thought for you... think about how much money YOU earn per hour and how hard YOU work for that money.  Think about YOUR experience in YOUR field and/or how much schooling was required for YOU to command that wage.

Now take what a Disc Jockey is offering his services for and divide that by the average length that this DJ works at a wedding or function. (10 hours including set up, travel and pack up) 

As a Disc Jockey with 23 years experience, I can justify my average earnings of $70.00 per hour by explaining various expenses such as equipment, music and fuel.  Combine that with my experience and you soon understand why I charge what I charge.   My FREE advice to you right now is "make a DJ explain his charges". In other words ask a prospective Disc Jockey "WHY?" not "WHAT"?  "

How about the question "WHEN"?  Answer: In the Edmonton area DJs are booked, on average, 5 to 8 months prior to the reception date. Especially for the "high" season. (May through December)  What about January through April?  If you do not get a discount, move on and find another qualified Disc Jockey that will give you a discount.
